Job Purpose:

AM Access Network will be responsible for managing the daily operations and maintenance of data center facilities, ensuring all systems are functioning at peak performance and meeting established performance standards. Additionally, he will support the regional facility management team, empowering them to efficiently handle the day-to-day operations of the data centers
Job Responsibilities:
-
OPEX & CAPEX budget management to stream line data center operations.

Initiation and renewal of service support agreements for critical power infrastructure to ensure Level-2 support from OEM vendors.

Business case preparation till contracting for phased-out power & environmental entities to ensure data centers stability.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of major outage incidents with plan to avoid such events in future.

Quarterly undertaking of self-inspections of data centers as per CMCC guidelines to conduct risk assessment & devise appropriate risk mitigation plan to ensure safe operations.

Effective inventory management by ensuring available inventory is used efficiently and to forecast future requirement based on installed base, available inventory and fault rate.

Find creative solutions to support reduction of operational costs and maximization of infrastructure utilization.

Responsible for audits to ensure the data centers remain compliant with applicable regulations and standards.

Update of knowledge base (policy / procedures) and automation of processes to improve project deliverance.

Keeping up with rapid technological advancements and ensuring data center infrastructure supports those advancements. Balancing cost-effectiveness with performance and reliability.
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):
Education:
-
Minimum Bachelors of Engineering is required. Masters degree will be preferred.

Any of Data Center Certifications such as ATD, CTDC, CDCE, CDFOM ,CDCS is plus.
Work Experience:

Minimum 3 Years of experience in managing Data Center & Operations in a lead role.

Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams, senior management, and external vendors.

Well versed with ANSI TIA 942, ASHRAE guidelines, Operational philosophy of Critical Data Centre Facilities.
