The Assistant Manager – Accounts will support the finance department in managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, capable of managing general ledger functions, coordinating audits, and assisting in budgeting and financial planning processes. --- Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Ensure compliance with statutory law, company policies, and financial regulations (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.). Support the audit process by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with internal/external auditors. Help in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic financial planning. Monitor internal controls and suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. Maintain and reconcile fixed assets register and depreciation schedules. Ensure timely closure of books of accounts. Assist in implementing new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines. Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data and provide analytical support. --- Qualifications & Requirements: M.Com or MBA FINANCE
