Assistant Manager Accounts

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire accounting operations across multiple store locations.
• Monitor daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, stock adjustments, and expenses.
• Ensure timely preparation of P&L, balance sheet, MIS reports, and financial analyses.
• Handle GST, TDS, statutory compliances, and ensure accurate monthly/annual filings.
• Lead accounts receivable/payable functions and ensure timely vendor settlements.
• Review and approve ledger postings, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Conduct internal audits, identify discrepancies, and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and management for financial planning.
• Supervise and guide the accounts team to ensure accuracy and adherence to timelines.
• Establish strong control systems for cash flow, inventory, and expense management.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in Tally / ERP and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent knowledge of retail accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Leadership and team-handling capability.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
