We are looking for results driven finance professional to lead core accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide actionable financial insights that enable sustainable growth. This role is pivotal in strengthening financial governance, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic decision making.

Location: Karachi Division, Sindh.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Lead end to end accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and month end/ year end close.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  • Oversee bookkeeping accuracy and maintain audit ready documentation and records.
  • Manage vendor payments, employee reimbursements, treasury functions, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Supervise costing activities including product costing, variance analysis, and cost control.
  • Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and variance analysis for senior leadership.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and working capital planning initiatives.
  • Ensure timely compliance with taxation requirements (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax) and regulatory bodies including SECP, SRB, and FBR.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners.
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and SOP frameworks.
  • Identify process gaps and implement automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Lead, mentor, and review the work of finance team members.

Provide financial advisory support to management to drive performance and profitability.

Qualification & Skills:

  • ACCA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or audit. Experience in a technology or multinational environment will be an advantage.
  • Strong command of IFRS, financial reporting standards, and accounting cycles.
  • Working knowledge of local taxation and regulatory compliance. Exposure to US accounting or taxation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, financial modelling).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and present actionable insights.
  • Proven leadership capability with effective team supervision and cross functional coordination skills.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and ability to perform under tight deadlines.
