Assistant Manager Accounts

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager Accounts to support the finance and accounting operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting records, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, tax compliance, and internal controls while ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance indicators.
  • Prepare and review journal vouchers, payment vouchers, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct bank, vendor, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports.
  • Ensure timely processing of payments, invoices, and receipts.
  • Support tax compliance activities, including sales tax, income tax, withholding tax, and other statutory filings.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Assist in developing and improving accounting policies, procedures, and financial controls.
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and guide junior accounting staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
  • Prepare management reports, variance analysis, and financial presentations for senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • CA Inter, ACCA, ACMA, or MBA Finance will be preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or audit functions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, services, or corporate sector organizations.
  • Familiarity with IFRS, corporate taxation, and audit processes.
  • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.

Pay: Rs65,000.00 - Rs85,000.00 per month
