Import Customer Service

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers on all import-related queries.
  • Provide timely updates on shipment status, delivery schedules, and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, CFS/CHA, and shipping lines to ensure smooth movement of cargo.
  • Share pre-alerts, arrival notices, and delivery orders with customers.
  • Liaise with internal departments including Imports Desk, Documentation, Pricing, and Accounts for seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate with the in-house Transport Department for timely arrangement of vehicles and generation of e-way bills to ensure smooth and compliant dispatch operations.
  • Handle escalations, resolve service-related issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain Import Job Data in our in-house software and generate daily/weekly status reports.
  • Support in job closing, billing coordination, and payment follow-ups as required.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • Knowledge of Imports – Candidates with a logistics background will be preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in Import Customer Service.
  • Minimum Graduate.

Language & IT Proficiency
  • MS office (Word & Excel)
  • Language Proficiency – English, Marathi and Hindi
