Ag Farming & Storage Ops Team Lead
Responsibilities

Lead field team and assist Regional Manager in implementing better extension model for “Farmer Connect”.

Realignment of territory and vendor base as per the change in model of operation.

ENSURING IMPLEMENTATION OF CF NORM / SEED SALE / VENDOR DATA BASE.

Get agreements signs off from field & Cold Store stakeholders.

Lead potato storage management in his territory (Direct & Supervision)
-
Lead due diligence & audit compliance of all cold stores of the territory.

Identification and development of third-party cold store as per PIH norms for seed / chip grade, maintenance of long-term potato stocks as per protocol.

Realignment of Storage base (new & existing) & improve on store S&R% assisting Regional Manager.

Lead “Agro Digitalization” in Central India & also remain key user in PAN India.

Lead/ Develop/ Sustain - capability of smart-Agro & ensure 100% compliance through end-users.

Ensure documentation of terrain wise entries & MIS reporting for the territory through end users’ hand-held tabs.

Prepare AOP for the region in collaboration with Regional Manager.

Ensuring uninterrupted supplies of Potato for the plant - Day/ week/ month & season wise.

Identify / create / develop / grow / sustain new as well early areas of agro-contacts/ farming pockets.

Ensure discipline amongst partners/ suppliers/ effective administration and implementation of PepsiCo policy COC.

Own and drive the Safety agenda - in the territory (field/ Cold Stores)

Lead SFP agenda to develop sustainable relationship with farmers and other stakeholders in the territory.

Develop capable vendors of NCF to deliver potato for to plants.

Identify/ grow/ sustain best variety for a “win-win” model for stake-holders & PepsiCo.
Qualifications
-
Education: Graduate/ PG in Agriculture/ MBA - Marketing / Supply Chain

Functional Experience: Approx. 3-5 years of experience
-
At least 3-5 years of hardcore agriculture Input sales / procurement / supply chain experience in a sales / manufacturing / processing set up.

Proven experience of dealing with farmers, traders, negotiation, selling, collaboration, agricultural departments & state agricultural policy.

Experience of dealing with local government authorities, suppliers, transporters, CPRI, CIP, & other Agricultural nodal bodies
