Assistant Manager - BIM (CDU4) -

  • Lead the implementation and governance of BIM strategies across all design and construction stages, ensuring alignment with the client's project delivery objectives.
  • Develop, review, and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Exchange's Information Requirements (EIRs) in accordance with project-specific goals and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee consultants' and contractors' BIM deliverables to ensure compliance with client standards, ISO 19650, and industry best practices.
  • Facilitate and monitor model coordination processes, including chairing coordination meetings and reviewing clash detection reports to ensure timely conflict resolution.
  • Utilize platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, and Revizto for issue management, model validation, and progress tracking across multiple work packages.
  • Drive 4D and 5D BIM integration, collaborating with planning and commercial teams to support cost forecasting, change tracking, and performance analytics through dashboard development.
  • Provide regular updates to project management and executive teams via BIM health checks, progress dashboards, and milestone reviews.
  • Support digital handover and asset readiness by managing the delivery of COBie data and ensuring alignment with facilities management requirements.
  • Champion BIM adoption across all project stakeholders, facilitating onboarding, training, and consistent alignment with the client's digital vision.
  • Define and implement comprehensive BIM strategies that support organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Set up and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) for effective information sharing and collaboration across the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a liaison between design consultants, contractors, and the client to ensure project efficiency and effective communication.
  • Perform quality assurance checks and identify defects in tools and workflows, supporting continuous improvement in digital delivery.
  • In-depth understanding of BIM standards, particularly ISO 19650, digital project delivery frameworks, and full lifecycle BIM applications.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, ACC, Revizto, and Power BI for dashboard reporting and analytics.
  • Strong experience managing consultants and contractors, with a demonstrated ability to enforce standards, assess compliance, and lead coordination processes.
  • Prior experience in high-profile sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, or hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing scalable automation tools for model validation, rapid design reviews, and compliance checking.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively, adapt to change, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Digital Twins, database integration, and cloud-based platforms such as Autodesk Tandem.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline; BIM certification or postgraduate specialization is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the AEC industry with progressive responsibility in BIM management roles.
  • Proven experience in large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects, preferably on the client-side or within a consultancy environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline; BIM certification or postgraduate specialization is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the AEC industry with progressive responsibility in BIM management roles.
  • Proven experience in large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects, preferably on the client-side or within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong experience managing consultants and contractors, with a demonstrated ability to enforce standards, assess compliance, and lead coordination processes.
