Job Title: Assistant Manager – Business Analyst (S&OP and Demand Planning) Location: Mumbai Key Responsibilities 1. Business Analytics & Insights  Analyze sales, inventory, platform performance, and customer demand data to generate actionable business insights.  Identify trends, growth drivers, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities across categories and platforms.  Build structured analytical outputs that support decision-making for business, category, and supply teams.

  • Dashboarding, Reporting &Automation  Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards (daily/weekly/monthly) covering key eCommerce KPIs: sales, sell-through, DOH, stock cover, allocation effectiveness, and platform metrics.  Own end-to-end reporting—data extraction, transformation, visualization, and stakeholder distribution.  Partner with BI/Tech teams to enhance data accuracy and automate manual recurring reports.
  • Operations & Stakeholder Analytics  Provide deep-dive analyses to category, supply chain, sourcing, and finance teams on performance drivers, stock risks, and platform dynamics.  Highlight risks and opportunities backed by data-driven recommendations.  Support leadership with ad-hoc analytics for strategic planning, performance reviews, and business initiatives.
  • Demand Planning Support (Secondary Responsibility / Good to Have)  Assist in developing SKU-level demand forecasts using historical trends and marketplace inputs (nice-to-have skill).  Track forecast accuracy (MAPE/Bias) and provide analytical insights into deviations.  Support demand alignment with category and supply teams during campaigns or major events.
  • Process & Data Improvement  Improve data hygiene, enhance report structures, and standardize analytics across the eCommerce portfolio.  Identify recurring issues in data visibility or reporting and propose solutions/tools to improve efficiency. Key Requirements  Min. 2 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Analysis, eCommerce Analytics, or Supply Chain Analytics.  Strong proficiency in Excel and dashboarding/visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau/Data Studio/Looker).  Hands-on exposure to SQL/Python  Understanding of eCommerce operations preferred.  Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and comfort working with large datasets.  Ability to work in fast-paced environments with cross-functional stakeholders.  Demand Planning knowledge is a plus, not mandatory.
