Job Objective
Assists the Duty Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis. Positions, directs and works with the Duty Manager and associates to carry out procedures ensuring an efficient check in and check out process. Ensures guests and associates satisfaction and maximizes the financial performance of the department. To co-ordinate with the other departments which would lead to service of the highest quality for the guest.
Essential Job Tasks
Areas of Responsibility
Financials
'*Maintains the Log Book and effectively follows up the system to check the daily arrival list and monitors all VIP movement.
  • Monitors adherence to all policies and procedures to reduce bad debts and rebates.
  • Ensure that all the operational standards set for all the processes are followed.
  • To ensure speedy and timely actions during emergency situations as per the SOP guidlines.
  • Checks guest cars shiftwise as per the checklist, records deviations and escalate the deviations to Chef Concierge.

'*Ensures meeting rooms and business centre work stations are maintained as per standards.
  • Ensures proper record keeping for business centre reservations and requests.
  • Ensures guest have a seemless experience while availing business centre services.
  • Provides information on all the hotel facilities to the guest and assists them in to the car.
  • Assists the front desk team during busy operations.
  • Prepare photocopies, scans, fax and other secretarial services for guests.
People
  • Assists learning and development for the team.
  • Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with associates and ensures associates do the same within the team.
  • Prepares departments duty rosters and approves leave in consultation with the department head.
  • Communicates expectations, recognizes performance, and produces desired results with associates within the department.
  • Maintains a culture of recognition by actively participating in the STARS (Special Thanks and Recognition System) Program.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Hospitality Management.
Work Experience
At least 1 year of relevant experience at a managerial position or 3 years of relevant experience at a supervisory level.
