What are the typical hours on the job?

The hours of operation for our practices are Monday-Friday, 8am-5:30pm. Your primary schedule will be during those hours, with periodic need to work outside your schedule to serve our patients.

What does an Assistant Manager Coding and Reimbursement do?

Assist the Manager of Coding and Reimbursement with overseeing the daily operations of the centralized billing office, focusing on staff relations, customer service, training and education, and financial management

What does a typical day on the job look like?

  • Conduct initial training and ongoing support for claim scrubber software
  • Supervision of the coding team including monitoring of accuracy and efficiency by report and batch audit
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve coding processing issues
  • Supervise staff in the absence of the manager
  • Liaison between Central Billing Office and clinics
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

What are the requirements for the job?

  • Associates Degree or equivalent from 2 year college
  • Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in medical billing and accounts receivable
  • CPC accreditation
  • Knowledge of current federal /state regulations governing billing practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
