Assistant Manager Compliance

Assistant Manager – Compliance Governance & Policy:


We are seeking a competent, proactive and detail-oriented professional for the position of Assistant Manager – Compliance Governance & Policy. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting and strengthening the Bank’s compliance governance framework through policy formulation, and implementation of compliance risk management practices in line with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations relevant to the microfinance banking sector.


Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance/Business Administration/Commerce/Law or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Regulatory Compliance/AML/CFT/Governance/Policy formulation within financial sector.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, update and maintain Compliance and AML/CFT policies, SOP manuals and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely incorporation of SBP requirements into internal policies and procedures.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of Compliance Risk Management Framework and Compliance Program across the Bank.
  • Prepare compliance MIS reports, presentations, governance dashboards and Board/Management Committee reporting packs.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments regarding policy reviews, regulatory implementation and compliance-related matters.
  • Manage policy review calendar, compliance MIS, governance records and action trackers.
  • Assist in Compliance Risk Assessments, Internal Risk Assessments (IRA) and regulatory gap analysis exercises.
