    Job Description:

    Qualification & Experience:

    Essential:

    • Master’s in English, Social Sciences, or Media Studies with 3–5 years of academic/research writing experience.

    Desirable:

    • Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field with more than 5 years of academic/research writing experience.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop course content, case studies, policy briefs, and training material
    • Ensure alignment with institutional values and global best practices
    • Collaborate with faculty for quality assurance
    • Develop on-brand, impactful designs for a wide range of media, including promotional brochures, digital banners, social media graphics, infographics, videos, event displays, and internal publications including marketing collaterals for marketing of courses
    • Tailor designs to diverse audiences, including executives, industry professionals, faculty, students, and public stakeholders
    • Ensure all visuals align with NUST and Centre branding guidelines, maintaining strong brand consistency across digital and print platforms
    • Work closely with the Manager Media & Communication, content developers, and videographer to deliver integrated collaterals & projects
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions and present creative concepts to team and management for feedback and approval
    • Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure innovative and competitive visual communications
    • Visualize & design annual training calendar before year-end to roll-out the calendar timely
    • Any other task assigned by the manager.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Research and develop original, clear, and engaging content tailored to diverse audiences for training programs and Centre initiatives
    • Write and edit content for multiple formats including web pages, blogs, email newsletters, social media posts, video scripts, and print materials
    • Collaborate with the Media & Communication Manager, videographer, graphic designer, and other team members to produce integrated multimedia content
    • Ensure all content adheres to SEO best practices to enhance visibility and reach
    • Edit and proofread content created by team members or external contributors to maintain quality and consistency
    • Maintain and update content management systems (CMS) with fresh, accurate content aligned with the Centre’s messaging
    • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and suggest improvements to optimize engagement
    • Support the Media & Communication Manager in content strategy development and campaign planning
    • Stay updated on industry trends, audience preferences, and emerging digital tools relevant to content creation and distribution
    • Excellent writing and editing skills

    Terms & Conditions:

    • Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics /Professional).
    • Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

    • 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
    • NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
    • In process of pursuing a required degree.
    • Medically unfit.
    • Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
