Assistant Manager - Costing

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager – Costing to manage product costing, cost control, and profitability analysis. The role involves close coordination with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and effective cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze product and process costing
• Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs
• Conduct variance analysis and suggest cost control measures
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting
• Assist in inventory valuation and stock audits
• Coordinate with production and purchase teams for cost reduction initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and costing standards

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and MIS
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Good communication and coordination skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs160,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
