Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager - Data Center (Design & Planning) to join our Infrastructure Sites & Facilities team. This role involves overseeing the design, planning, and operational efficiency of our data centers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define data center operations, including the development of Change Management procedures, SOPs, and related tools.

· Prepare BOQs, layouts, technical documentation, and RFPs.

· Manage data centers to ensure vendors meet service level agreements as per contractual terms.

· Develop and analyze energy-efficient solutions to minimize power losses.

· Conduct site visits for engineering studies, electrical system audits, and startup testing.

· Participate in Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures or power outages.

· Provide instructions to vendors and installation contractors while ensuring quality standards are met.

· Oversee the operation and maintenance of all data center infrastructure, including power systems, cooling, fire alarms, and generators.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

· 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in data center or facility management.

· In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, fire systems, and control systems.

· Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to work independently.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and inspire diverse teams.

· Certifications such as CDCP (Certified Data Center Professional) or DCM (Data Center Management) are a plus.

· Familiarity with power distribution, cooling systems, networking, and security will be advantageous.
