Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Data Scientist!

In this role, you will work on solving complex business problems using data science, machine learning, and deep learning techniques. You’ll be responsible for building scalable analytical solutions, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-impact outcomes

Responsibilities

Lead the development of statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems

Deliver data-driven insights through advanced analytics and storytelling using visualization tools

Manage data extraction, transformation, and integration processes using SQL and ETL techniques

Mentor junior analysts and data scientists on best practices in Python programming and model building

Map raw data to business problems through data wrangling, feature engineering, and model deployment

Work on natural language processing tasks including text mining, LSTM, BERT, transformers, and Seq2Seq models

Own end-to-end implementation of deep learning models using CNN, RNN, HMM, and other AI techniques

Collaborate with engineering teams to develop Flask/Django-based applications for model deployment

Ensure data solutions are scalable, robust, and aligned with cloud architecture standards (AWS, Azure)

Visualize and present insights using tools like Power BI or Tableau [List of responsibilities]

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science

Proficient in statistical analysis, data wrangling, and data mining using Python

Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, optimization, and hyperparameter tuning

Experience working with NLP and text mining techniques

Hands-on experience in using SQL and ETL tools for data preparation

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Good years of experience in data science or advanced analytics role

Exposure to deep learning techniques and AI models (e.g., CNN, RNN, HMM, Monte Carlo simulations

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure

Experience working with big data tools like Spark

Proficiency in building web applications using Flask or Django

Strong communication and client management skills

Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
