Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated **Development Engineer / Assistant Manager – Development** to join our Development Department. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in new product development, injection mold development, product trials, and process validation. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to ensure product quality while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead new product development activities from concept to production.

* Manage the design, development, and validation of injection molds.

* Coordinate product trials and evaluate manufacturing feasibility.

* Perform process validation to ensure consistent product quality and production efficiency.

* Review mold designs and recommend improvements for manufacturability and cost optimization.

* Troubleshoot injection molding issues and implement corrective actions.

* Utilize CAD/CAM software (CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar) for product and mold development activities.

* Coordinate with production, quality, tooling, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth project execution.

* Participate in Quality Management System (QMS) audits and ensure compliance with company quality standards.

* Prepare technical documentation, reports, validation records, and development-related documentation.

* Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders regarding development projects and technical requirements.

* Lead development projects while ensuring timely completion within quality and cost objectives.

Required Skills & Competencies

* Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM applications.

* Proficiency in CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar 3D design software.

* Injection mold troubleshooting and process optimization.

* Mold design review and product development.

* Process validation techniques.

* Quality Management System (QMS) awareness.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.

* Team leadership and coordination skills.

* Customer coordination and relationship management.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Mechanical) or B.Tech Mechanical.

* Minimum **5 years** of relevant experience in product development, mold development, or injection molding within a manufacturing environment.
