The Assistant Manager – Dispatch will oversee and manage the daily dispatch operations for the printing and packaging unit, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of finished goods. The role involves coordination with production, sales, warehousing, and transport vendors to ensure customer satisfaction through efficient logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch Planning & Execution:
- Plan daily dispatch schedules based on production output and customer requirements.
- Ensure dispatches are made on time with accurate documentation and packaging.
- Optimize vehicle loading and routing for cost and time efficiency.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Liaise with internal departments – production, sales, QA, and accounts – for smooth dispatch operations.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for vehicle availability and shipment tracking.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents such as invoices, delivery challans, E-way bills, and transport documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GST and other statutory regulations related to dispatch.
- Maintain dispatch records, shipment tracking logs, and customer acknowledgments.
- Inventory & Warehouse Support:
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock levels and FIFO dispatching.
- Ensure accurate stock dispatch and avoid stock mismatches.
- Customer Service & Feedback:
- Address customer queries related to dispatch timelines and delivery status.
- Monitor delivery performance and initiate corrective actions for delays or errors.
- Team Supervision & Training:
- Supervise dispatch staff and loading team.
- Provide training on handling procedures, safety norms, and documentation practices.
Key Requirements:
- Education:
- Graduate in any discipline; Diploma/Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is preferred.
- Experience:
- 7–8 years of experience in dispatch/logistics, preferably in the printing and packaging or manufacturing industry.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Others) and logistics software.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Good communication (Hindi, Marathi, and English).
- Knowledge of GST, E-way bills, and transportation documentation.
- Ability to handle pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
