Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Embroidery who will be responsible for managing end-to-end embroidery operations, including vendor management, production planning, quality control, and timely order execution. The role ensures embroidery developments and bulk production are completed according to approved standards, delivery timelines, and cost targets while maintaining seamless coordination with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee complete multi-head and puff embroidery operations.
  • Manage outsourced embroidery vendors and subcontractors efficiently.
  • Plan and allocate embroidery orders according to vendor capacity and machine capability.
  • Ensure timely achievement of production targets while maintaining premium quality standards.
  • Ensure timely completion of daily developments and submissions to Head Office.
  • Monitor embroidery quality and minimize rejections and production losses.
  • Identify and resolve embroidery defects, including thread breakage, tension issues, puckering, and design misalignment.
  • Ensure all vendor corrections and replacements are completed without impacting delivery timelines. Develop cost-effective embroidery sourcing solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Audit and verify vendor invoices based on stitch counts and approved costing structures.
  • Coordinate closely with Design, Production, IE, and Merchandising teams to ensure smooth workflow execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in embroidery production, vendor management, or apparel manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of embroidery processes and production workflows.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
