Assistant Manager – Quality Control (MEP)

Location - Bengaluru (Devanahalli)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site quality inspections for MEP Low Side works including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, and Low Voltage works
• Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and standards
• Inspect materials delivered to the site for compliance with approved Material Approval Requests (MARs) and technical specifications
• Assist the planner in implementing sequencing of works and Hand Over & Take Over of areas
• Implement Quality Control procedures, ITPs, MIRs, and work WIRs on site
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, test results, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective action records
• Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and contractors to address quality-related concerns
• Participate in client, consultant, and internal quality review meetings
• Support in preparing monthly quality reports and recommendations for improvement

Required Education and Experience:

• Diploma, B. Tech., or B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or IT
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in construction management and site execution of MEP Low Side Work for fitout projects
• Exposure to working with contracting firms and project management organizations for high-end fitout works, from start till completion
• Experience working for a hotel project will be preferred

Required Skills & Experience:

• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Eye for detail in MEP installations prior to closure of shafts and ceilings
• Ability to read contractor shop drawings
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel
