Responsibilities

To attend all emergency calls
-
Daily Site round of all work locations and checking safety preparedness.

Rectification of Unsafe act & condition at the location
-
Take care of maintenance schedule of Fire Services and HSE activities throughout the port in shift pattern.

Managing & guiding safety marshals and Fire Crew for Stand by duty, Inspection, Monitoring, Emergency call
-
Verifying work permit in the operational area, which includes Liquid Operation, Dry cargo, container Operation, Engineering service, Marine, Security, Store, MHS etc..

Preparation of shift report & other Documentation work.

Verification & implementation of SOPs & Work Instruction.

Audit & Inspection of the area / activity and Contractor & preparing report.

First Information report preparation on all kind of HSEF event and mail to HOS and HOD HSEF

Safety Field round observation capturing in Gensuite , daily report and communicate to concern dept.
-
Compliances of OHS procedure in critical job like confined space entry, work at height, lifting and shifting, excavation, etc.. to be observation and observation must share to concern dept.

Ensure & Assist the area supervisor / contractor safety person / Safety Marshals to conduct regular Tool Box Talks / Shop floor Trainings.

Inspection of Vehicles, Equipment / Lifting tools & tackles.

Auditing of PPE usage, SOP, Compliance

Conducting training as per TNI on various topics.
Qualifications
B.Sc. (Chemistry/Physic) / Diploma Engg. / B.E.
Diploma in industrial Safety (DIS) or Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) from government recognized board/university /college / institute. (NIBOSH – IGC/PSM is added advantage)
Candidates working in Operations may also apply
Minimum 5 years of experience after completion of Safety Qualification.
