Position Summary

Responsible for the effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Standard Process Operations (SPOs). The role ensures full compliance with all applicable EHS legal, regulatory, and other requirements, promotes a strong safety and environmental culture across the organization, and supports risk prevention, environmental protection, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and execution of the Annual EHS Plan, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable legal, regulatory, and other environmental and safety requirements, keeping the organization up to date with changes in legislation.
  • Conduct and review comprehensive EHS risk assessments and the identification of environmental aspects within business processes.
  • Lead and supervise third-party inspections, audits, and surveys to ensure compliance with EHS standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular internal EHS audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the fire detection and suppression systems are regularly maintained, and fully operational in accordance with safety standards.
  • Plan and execute training programs for staff and contractors to raise awareness and competence in EHS matters across operational areas.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate EHS-related events, campaigns, and activities throughout the year, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Drive a strong EHS culture, embedding safety and environmental accountability into business processes, and strengthening organizational competence through targeted learning initiatives.


Requirements

  • At least a bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of applicable EHS legal, regulatory, and other compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures.
  • Familiarity with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Understanding of environmental aspects and impacts, waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices.
  • Awareness of occupational health programs, including ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and employee wellness initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train, influence, and engage employees and contractors.
  • Competency in conducting safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications
