We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance to oversee bookkeeping, financial reporting, and daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience in finance and accounting, with strong expertise in QuickBooks, bookkeeping, tax compliance, and financial documentation. This role requires accuracy, accountability, and the ability to work independently while supporting the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:Bookkeeping & Financial Records

  • Maintain and supervise accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records.
  • Record and verify daily financial transactions in QuickBooks.
  • Ensure all accounting entries are properly posted and reconciled.

Financial Operations

  • Prepare, review, and process payment vouchers, journals, and general ledger postings.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Assist in monthly sales tax and withholding tax filings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Reporting & Audit Support

  • Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing schedules, ledgers, and required documentation.
  • Identify gaps in financial processes and recommend improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping roles.
  • Strong command of QuickBooks, accounting entries, and financial reporting.
  • Solid understanding of tax calculations and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
