Assistant Manager - Finance

Job Summary

The role is responsible for managing end-to-end finance and accounting activities for logistics and shipping operations, including accounts payable and receivable, taxation, audits, and finalization of Balance Sheet. The position ensures accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and effective control over operational and vessel-related accounting, while supporting business requirements in a fast-paced logistics and shipping environment.

Qualification & Experience

• CA Inter / CA / MBA (Finance).
• Minimum 8+ years of experience

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable, Receivable including vendor payments, customer invoicing, and reconciliations
• Oversee statutory, internal, and external audits
• Maintain accuracy of books of accounts and supporting documentation
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings
• Handle taxation compliances including GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory filings
• Responsible for finalization of Balance Sheet, P&L, and periodic financial closings
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and industry-specific financial practices

Systems & Technical Skills

• Sound working knowledge of Tally (mandatory)
• Good understanding of accounting controls, reconciliations, and documentation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹720,000.00 - ₹960,000.00 per year
