Assistant Manager Finance

The Assistant Manager – Finance is responsible for strengthening the organization’s financial planning, reporting, and control framework by ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The role supports strategic decision-making through timely MIS and financial insights, monitors project profitability and financial exposures, ensures compliance with internal policies and banking requirements, and collaborates cross-functionally to drive financial discipline, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth.

  • Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts, monitor performance against targets, and provide variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop timely MIS and management reports highlighting financial performance, KPIs, and actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Analyze project-wise costs, revenues, and margins to ensure accurate profitability tracking and informed pricing decisions.
  • Coordination with Banks for Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit, and other funded and non-funded facilities.
  • Support internal financial controls, monitor financial exposures, and ensure compliance with company policies and banking requirements.
  • Collaborate with project and operations teams on financial feasibility, cost optimization, and business decision support.
  • 4–6 years of progressive experience in finance.
  • Experience in project-based industries (construction, engineering, EPC, manufacturing, etc.) preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in handling Bank Guarantees and LCs is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
  • Master’s degree / ACCA / CA Finalist preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs120,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
