Position Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. This includes conducting monthly audits, ensuring timely filing of direct and indirect tax returns, and preparing financial statements for statutory audits. A strong foundation in accounting principles is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of monthly management accounting for managements review includes general accounting and reporting, fixed assets, statutory accounting in accordance with SLAs
  • Finalization of books of account and financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Sales Tax Compliances, ensuring proper returns are filed and the records are reconciled with books of accounts.
  • Ensuring all the applicable statutory compliances requirements are adhered to as per applicable laws.
  • Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
  • Manage and coordinate Statutory Auditors, Income tax Auditors, Investor Due diligence etc
  • Perform other financial responsibilities as and when required and handle ad hoc tasks.
  • Regularly track and resolve outstanding general accounting and reporting issues that have been escalated.
  • Review the accounting on timely basis to ensure quality of books of accounts.
  • Proactively identify, propose, and implement continuous improvement opportunities in existing processes within the team.
  • Must be experienced enough to communicate with top-level management.

Required Experiences and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or CA Inter or professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, CFA etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues. Skills in report writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude and thinking, able to work independently, self-motivate, contribute to a positive team, and run several project engagements concurrently.
  • Good observation, judgment, analytical and summary skills.
  • Have working experience in ERP system like SAP,Oracle, etc.
  • Having Articleship exposure is an add-on
  • Strong analytical skills that can clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers and familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Adaptable and flexible to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances and to work in ambiguous situations.
