
Assistant Manager – Finance
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll.
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to provide meaningful financial insights.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
- Prepare and manage tax returns and tax-related matters.
- Recommend strategies to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Lead, guide, and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.
- Assist in ERP/accounting system implementation, process improvements, and financial automation initiatives.
Audit & Compliance
- Lead and coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with taxation laws, including Income Tax, Sales Tax, withholding taxes, and other statutory obligations.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, taxation, and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
