Posting Description:
Finance & Strategy
The individual hired will be responsible for Reinsurance accounting, Income booking, remittances, brokerage transfer. Maintain MIS and work closely with business team to ensure timely policy booking. Also responsible for IRDA compliances, Audit data preparation and queries resolution, GST filings.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Master reinsurance file, maintain reinsurer Bank account details & save such other documents and information on regular basis. Review quality check and categorization by department, product type, nature of service etc.
  • End to end accounting and Invoicing for Reinsurance transactions.
  • Preparing and uploading remittances. Co-ordinating with business team for queries and timely processing of the remittances.
  • Preparing brokerage working and transfer of the same.
  • Preparing workings for IRDA returns – quarterly and half yearly.
  • Providing data for audits and resolving the queries if any.
  • Working on 26 AS Reconciliation.
  • Preparing IRDA compliance report on monthly basis.
  • Working on month end closure – posting final entries, publishing the required MIS and sharing the data to respective teams at the month end.
  • Preparing data for monthly GST returns.
Qualification:
  • Work Experience: 2-5 years; preferably from Insurance Industry or regulated financial.

  • MBA/ PGDBA or any equivalent qualification
  • The candidate is expected to utilise interpersonal and communication skills to lead.
  • Individual contributor and thinker, proactive, enthusiastic, great teammate.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders (internal and external) is essential.
  • Knowledge of working on different system is a must.
