We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance to join our growing finance team.
This role blends core financial operations with financial reporting and analysis, supporting business strategy while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The position also involves mentoring junior staff and working cross-functionally to enhance overall financial accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and liquidity management.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Conduct detailed financial and variance analyses to provide insights for management decision-making.
- Build, maintain, and optimize financial models using advanced Microsoft Excel tools.
- Support internal and external audit processes, respond to audit queries, and strengthen internal controls.
- Monitor compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Tax, IT, and other teams to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor junior finance staff, fostering skill development and performance excellence.
- Contribute to process improvements, special financial projects, and continuous enhancement of reporting practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications such as ACCA/CMA preferred).
- 4–6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or reporting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and core finance principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software (preferred).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Leadership abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
