Assistant Manager – Horticulture

• We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Manager – Horticulture to oversee and support day-to-day farm operations. The role focuses on achieving productivity and business objectives through effective crop planning, plant health management, modern farming practices, and resource optimization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in horticulture and leadership ability to drive sustainable and high-quality production outcomes.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement horticultural crop production, cropping patterns, and plant maintenance.
• Monitor plant health, identify and manage pests, diseases, and weeds.
• Oversee pre- and post-harvest handling of fruits and vegetables.
• Manage field operations including irrigation, fertilization, and climate control.
• Supervise and train field staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of crop production and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards such as IPM and Fertigation protocols.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments for seamless operational flow.

MSc (Hons.) in Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture or related fields (Agronomy, Soil Science, Agri Entomology).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs125,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
