Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager HR – Operations oversees and ensures the smooth functioning of HR operational processes, employee lifecycle programs, and compliance initiatives. The role focuses on improving HR efficiency, implementing policies, and supporting organizational development without being directly involved in recruitment or payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, SOPs, and payroll processes across the organization.

· Manage statutory and employee benefit programs such as EOBI, SESSI, PESSI, Health & Life Insurance, Provident Fund, and Gratuity, ensuring accurate registration, compliance, and timely reporting.

· Oversee complete payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, statutory contributions, and timely disbursement.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, and workplace concerns, ensuring timely guidance and support.

· Support employee engagement, recognition, and wellbeing initiatives, including payroll-linked benefits and incentive programs.

· Facilitate the resolution of employee grievances in line with company policies, particularly those related to payroll, benefits, and statutory entitlements.

· Coordinate HR operational programs such as performance management, learning and development, succession planning, and incentive administration.

· Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on operations, compliance, workforce data, and payroll for management review.

· Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to enhance HR efficiency, compliance, and overall organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources

· 3–5 years of experience in HR operations or a generalist HR role.

· Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements.

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and employee relations skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR tools.
