About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager HR to oversee and manage high-volume hiring of call center agents. The role demands strong recruitment expertise in the BPO sector, with the ability to design and execute hiring strategies that meet business needs while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
Core Responsibilities
· Lead end-to-end recruitment for call center/frontline agent positions.
· Partner with operations leaders to forecast manpower requirements and align hiring plans.
· Develop innovative sourcing strategies (job boards, social media, walk-ins, referrals, and campus drives).
· Conduct candidate screenings, initial interviews, and coordinate final selection rounds.
· Manage bulk-hiring drives and walk-in interviews to ensure staffing targets are met.
· Maintain recruitment dashboards and track KPIs such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire.
· Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for future agent requirements.
· Ensure a positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.
· Collaborate with training teams to ensure smooth induction of new hires.
· Stay updated with BPO market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 3–5 years of HR/recruitment experience with at least 2 years in the BPO/call center industry.
· Proven experience in bulk hiring / mass recruitment.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
· Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
