Job Summary:

A leading FMCG Startup is keen to hire an Assistant HR Manager who will oversee end-to-end HR operations and head office administration. The selected candidate must have hands-on experience across both corporate and factory HR, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to independently drive and execute HR processes.

Location: Bellandur, Bengaluru


Designation: Assistant HR Manager / Deputy HR Manager


Reports To: Co-Founder


Roles & Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and participate in the recruitment process.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make recommendations for hiring decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective onboarding programs.

Core HR and Compliances:

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations for Head Office and Factory employees.
  • Handle recruitment & onboarding for corporate, factory, and field roles.
  • Manage attendance, payroll coordination, PF, ESI, and statutory compliance.
  • Drive performance management processes (PMS cycles, appraisals, confirmations).
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
  • Coordinate learning & development initiatives, trainings, and engagement programs.
  • Initiate and Support Rewards & Recognition, townhalls, annual conferences, and employee events.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation, employee records, and HR MIS reports.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
  • Laise with off-roll vendors and manpower agencies.
  • Ensure compliance of contract labour documentation and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with factory HR/admin teams for smooth operations.

Administration – Head Office:

  • Oversee office administration and Manage office supplies, assets, and facility maintenance.
  • Support in organizing company events, internal audits, and meetings.
  • Monitor and track admin expenses and maintain records.


Key Requirements:

  • Prior work experience in FMCG / Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Indian labour laws.
  • Hands-on experience in both corporate HR and factory HR.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
  • Language proficiency in English, Hindi and South Indian languages ( Kannada/Telugu/Tamil )


Education: MBA / PGDM in Human Resource


Experience: 6-10 years (FMCG / Organic Food / Manufacturing industry preferred)


Working days: Monday to Saturday (Saturday is WFH)
