We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Assistant Manager – Human Resources
to partner with leadership and employees across key HR functions. This role is a perfect blend of operational execution and strategic partnership—you will lead talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance while helping shape a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned departments (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation).

Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create effective hiring strategies.

Lead new hire orientation and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Employee Relations & Engagement

Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and conflict resolution.

Promote employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and wellness activities.

Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends to recommend retention strategies.
Performance Management

Support the annual performance review cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and appraisals.

Guide managers on performance improvement plans (PIPs) and coaching conversations.
Compliance & Policy Management

Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and company standards.

Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.

Assist in internal and external HR audits.
HR Operations & Projects

Oversee monthly payroll inputs, leave management, and benefits administration.

Lead or participate in HR projects (e.g., policy revisions, DEI initiatives, HR system upgrades).
Qualifications & Skills
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

3–5 years of progressive HR experience (generalist or specialist role).

Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Experience with HRIS platforms and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred:

Master’s degree (MBA/MHRM) or HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD).

Experience in [industry, e.g., tech, manufacturing, retail, healthcare].

Familiarity with recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed) and ATS software.
