Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is hiring for its client, a well-reputed pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Korangi, Karachi.

𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Korangi, Karachi

𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞: PKR 130,000 – 150,000

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝: 4–6 Years

𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:

The Assistant Manager – Import & Export will be responsible for managing end-to-end international trade operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities, and coordinating with global suppliers and logistics partners. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in pharmaceutical import/export procedures, documentation, and regulatory requirements.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

· Manage complete import & export operations including shipment planning, tracking, and clearance.

· Handle LC opening, documentation, and banking coordination.

· Ensure compliance with DRAP, Customs, and other regulatory authorities.

· Prepare and verify shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, Form E, I-Form, etc.).

· Coordinate with clearing agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and international suppliers.

· Ensure timely clearance of consignments to avoid demurrage/detention charges.

· Monitor and control freight and import/export costs within approved budgets.

· Stay updated with SROs, import/export policies, and pharmaceutical trade regulations.

· Maintain complete documentation for audits and internal compliance.

· Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, QA, and Finance departments.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

· 4–6 years of relevant experience in Import & Export operations within the pharmaceutical industry.

· Strong knowledge of DRAP regulations and pharma compliance.

· Hands-on experience with LC documentation and export procedures.

· Good understanding of HS codes, tariff classifications, and regulatory requirements.

· Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
