Job Overview

We are seeking an organized and experienced Assistant Manager – Imports to oversee our end-to-end import operations, ensure strict customs compliance, and coordinate with international partners for seamless shipment delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations: Manage end-to-end import workflows, tracking, and timely clearance.
  • Coordination: Liaison with international agents, airlines, freight partners, and customs authorities.
  • Compliance: Ensure full adherence to customs regulations, import laws, and tax/duty calculations.
  • Documentation: Oversee critical paperwork including BL/AWB, invoices, and packing lists.
  • Optimization: Monitor shipment KPIs, resolve delays, and streamline processes to reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in import operations (logistics industry preferred).
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of customs clearance, international freight, and logistics software.
  • Traits: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and MS Office skills.
