Assistant Manager Infrastructure Planning

Job Purpose:

• To work mainly on Design and Planning of Data Center infrastructure components like HVAC Units/ Power Systems / Fire Suppression System / DCIM / Switchgear HT & LT Panels requirements etc.
• Major responsibility will be to look after the planning and design of all data center related components for new and expansion related requirements.
• Candidate should have expertise in RFP design including technical specifications, BOQ, SLA and contract documents etc

Job Responsibilities:

• AutoCAD design layout and SLD
• Preparations, Complete infrastructure node planning of Nationwide Core locations/Data Centers Design, Planning and Tracking of all related projects including HVAC systems, Power systems (DC/AC), Standby Generators, HT/LT Switchgear, Transformers, Battery Banks, Fire Suppression System, DCIM System etc RFP preparation and product evaluation related to infrastructure components
• Carry out periodic analysis of data center site in terms of space utilization, HVAC capacity and power capacity to ensure that necessary expansions required on reaching thresholds are proposed and carried out.
• Coordination with Other departments and vendors for timely implementation of infrastructure works/projects.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

• In principle should have a minimum of Bachelors degree

Work Experience:

• Preferred experience of 3 years or more of infrastructure component design experience in data centers

• Ability to work under pressure and well on a team

• Expert in Data Center Component Design
• Expert in Power Calculations and SLDs preparation
• Should have strong background of Data Center Component Design
• Experience and ability to perform complex business case analysis to justify technical design approaches and decisions.
