Assistant Manager Internal Audit

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager – Internal Audit supports the planning and execution of internal audit engagements to ensure the organization’s operations, controls, and processes comply with applicable laws, policies, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment.
  • Lead and conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across departments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare clear, concise audit reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor implementation of agreed audit recommendations and follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Support investigations of irregularities or suspected fraud.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and internal auditing standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior audit staff.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA/CA/CIA part-qualified or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of internal audit, external audit, or risk management experience, preferably in [industry e.g., FMCG/Manufacturing].
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards (IIA) and risk management principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and audit management tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs150,000.00 per month
