Assistant Manager – ITOM & CMDB– ServiceNow Platform

We are seeking a 6 Plus years of experienced ServiceNow ITOM & CMDB administrator to maintain IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions, including CMDB, discovery, service mapping, and integrations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in optimizing ITOM functionalities to improve configuration management, operational efficiency, and IT service reliability. This role requires strong technical skills and a proactive approach to delivering robust ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
CMDB Management and Enhancement:
- Manage and enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Ensure CI data integrity, compliance, and governance standards.
- Implement advanced CMDB features, including Agent Client Collector (ACC) and service mapping for application and infrastructure components.
Discovery and Service Mapping
- Manage ServiceNow Discovery to identify and maintain Configuration Items (CIs).
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery Agentless and ACC.
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow Service mapping.
- Diagnose and resolve complex discovery and Service mapping issues.
- Manage and optimize integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and APIs for tools like AD, MID Servers, and cloud environments.
Collaboration and Agile Development
- Work within a Scrum-based Agile framework to deliver scalable, functional solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements and mock-ups into ServiceNow features.
- Document configurations, customizations, and integrations comprehensively.
Team Enablement
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Represent the CMDB/ITOM function in enterprise architecture, product strategy, and ServiceNow community engagements.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing across IT and business units.
Basic Qualifications:
- ServiceNow ITOM Expertise: Proven 6+ Years of experience in implementing and managing ServiceNow Discovery and ServiceNow Agent Client Collector (ACC)
- Ensure continuous improvements and optimize the ITOM processes in alignment with the business objectives.
- CMDB Knowledge: Strong understanding of the CMDB lifecycle, including discovery, service mapping, and CI data integrity.
- Integrations: Experience with REST, SOAP, and API integrations for systems like AD, MID Servers, and credential stores.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and cloud discovery tools.
- CSDM Framework: Strong knowledge of the Common Service Data Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow CMDB with third-party tools.

- ITIL Foundation Certification (required).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – CMDB
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timing: Shift between 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST or 12am to 9pm
