Assistant Manager Legal

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Assistant Manager Legal with 3-4 years of working experience to join our Legal Affairs team and help with the Company’s legal matters across various functions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and international contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable local and foreign laws, regulatory requirements, and international best practices; proactively identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks.
• Provide comprehensive legal advisory support to the Company and its affiliates, with particular focus on HR and labour law matters, including employment structuring, disciplinary actions, terminations, workplace disputes, and cross-border employment issues.
• Advise on labour and employment frameworks in multiple jurisdictions, including exposure to UAE and other international legal regimes, ensuring compliance with applicable employment and corporate laws.
• Support internal departments on contract interpretation, workforce-related risk management, data protection, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and international compliance frameworks, including anti-corruption laws such as FCPA.
• Develop and implement internal policies and HR-related legal frameworks; conduct legal awareness sessions and compliance trainings across departments.
• Manage and oversee litigation matters, particularly labour and recovery cases, coordinating with external counsel in both local and international jurisdictions where required.
• Conduct legal research on ICT regulations in Pakistan and monitor global legal and regulatory trends impacting cross-border operations.
