Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Liner Sales to drive container sales, manage key accounts, and expand our customer base. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of liner shipping, freight rates, and trade lanes, with the ability to achieve sales targets and build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue targets
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients (exporters/importers)
- Identify new business opportunities and onboard potential customers
- Negotiate freight rates and service contracts with clients
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams for smooth shipment handling
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, or related field)
- 3–5 years of experience in Liner Shipping Sales or similar role
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding and shipping industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
- Proficiency in MS Office

- Strong industry network (shipping lines/exporters)
- Knowledge of international trade routes and documentation
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
