Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and optimize the transportation, storage, and distribution of materials to meet operational requirements.
  • Plan and oversee logistics operations, including route planning and scheduling of deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained.
  • Manage relationships with transportation vendors and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
  • Track and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Implement best practices for inventory management and warehouse organization.
  • Coordinate with customs agents and freight forwarders to facilitate international shipments.
  • Oversee the handling of documentation and customs clearance for import/export activities.
  • Resolve any issues or delays in the transportation or delivery of materials to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination.
  • Max experience should not be more than 7 years
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing transportation, storage, and distribution activities.
  • Proven experience in optimizing logistics processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
