Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Logistics to manage and optimize domestic and international logistics operations for a growing manufacturing organization. The role involves multi-unit coordination, critical machine dispatch planning, vendor management, in-house fleet supervision, MIS reporting, and team leadership to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective deliveries.

Required Knowledge & Abilities

  • Strong logistics planning and execution skills
  • Experience in handling large / heavy / critical equipment dispatches
  • Vendor negotiation and cost-control capability
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and MIS/reporting ability
  • Leadership and people-management skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach
  • Good command of spoken and written English and local languages
  • Knowledge of light motor vehicles and commercial vehicles

Experience

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in logistics within a manufacturing or capital equipment environment
  • Experience in multi-location operations preferred
  • Exposure to international logistics and exhibitions will be an added advantage

Educational Background

  • Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
