Job Title: Assistant Manager Logistics (Transport)

Qualification:
At least a graduate, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain Management.

Experience:
5-6 years of experience in managing fleet/delivery vans and drivers in a reputed company, with a proven track record of handling fleet effectively and efficiently.

Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, with experience in Logistics modules of ERP systems preferred
• Strong ability in tactful handling of human resources
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills for route optimization and fuel efficiency management
• Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities:

• Manage company fleet efficiently and effectively
• Oversee and optimize driver performance and work efficiency
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for fleet and driver management
• Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
• Monitor and control fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety protocols
• Prepare reports on fleet performance, and fuel usage
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Identify and implement process improvements in transport operations
