Job Title: Assistant Manager Logistics (Transport)

Qualification:
At least a graduate, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain Management.
Experience:
5-6 years of experience in managing fleet/delivery vans and drivers in a reputed company, with a proven track record of handling fleet effectively and efficiently.
Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, with experience in Logistics modules of ERP systems preferred
- Strong ability in tactful handling of human resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills for route optimization and fuel efficiency management
- Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage company fleet efficiently and effectively
- Oversee and optimize driver performance and work efficiency
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for fleet and driver management
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Monitor and control fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety protocols
- Prepare reports on fleet performance, and fuel usage
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Identify and implement process improvements in transport operations
