EXPERIENCE:
- 6 – 8 years

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complaint Management:
- Scrutinize all incoming electrical complaints and ensure proper logging.
- Prioritize complaints based on urgency, risk, and operational impact.
- Develop a structured response and resolution timeline.
Manpower and Material Allocation:
- Plan, allocate, and supervise manpower based on workload and skill levels.
- Ensure availability and timely procurement of materials and consumables.
- Optimize resource utilization to improve operational efficiency.
Team Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead, motivate, and guide the electrical maintenance team.
- Conduct on‑site supervision and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members
Power Supply & Infrastructure Management:
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply across the hospital premises.
- Coordinate with external agencies for power-related issues.
- Plan and execute upgrades to the hospital’s electrical infrastructure
Electrical Plant and Machinery Maintenance:
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of generators, transformers, compressors, lifts, pumps, fire pumps, PSA plant, and AC systems.
- Ensure optimal running condition and compliance with statutory norms
HT Meter Reading and Documentation:
- Record accurate HT meter readings and maintain proper documentation.
- Analyze consumption trends and recommend energy‑saving measures.
Roster and Leave Management:
- Prepare duty rosters ensuring 24/7 technical coverage.
- Manage team leave schedules without affecting operations
Tendering, Contracting and AMC Management:
- Draft tenders for repairs, maintenance, and project work.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and support the finalization process.
- Monitor all AMC activities and review contractor performance
Certification, Billing and Compliance:
- Verify completed work and certify contractor bills.
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety regulations and audit requirements.
Breakdown & Emergency Response
- Lead quick response actions for equipment failures or power breakdowns.
- Coordinate with internal teams to minimize downtime during emergencies.
Fire & Safety Systems Oversight
- Ensure maintenance of fire extinguishers, fire pumps, and fire alarm systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to maintain readiness.
Preventive Maintenance & Quality Control
- Develop annual preventive maintenance plans.
- Monitor implementation and ensure quality workmanship.
- Maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities
- Submit periodic reports to the HOD on performance, issues, and improvements.
- Maintain all required records, logs, and compliance documents.
- Participate in departmental planning and budgeting activities.
Earthing Management
- Ensure all electrical installations have proper earthing.
- Regularly inspect and maintain earthing systems for safety.
Fuel & Inventory Management
- Manage diesel procurement and stock control for DG sets.
- Monitor inventory of spares, tools, and consumables.
Facility Support Activities
- Oversee electrical fittings and maintenance for Vadu Hospital and hostels too.
- Ensure water heater repairs and upkeep with availability of essential spares.
Any other work/responsibility assigned by the HOD/Management in the course of business/work whether within the same unit/department or any other unit/department from time to time
