Assistant Manager Marketing

This position will collaborate with the on-site and off-property marketing teams as well as the marketing leaders to enhance and increase bookings for Hilton Grand Vacations.

Schedule Details:

Our Assistant Marketing Manager will work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

As an Assistant Manager Marketing, you will be responsible for :

  • Provides, and is responsible for supervision of Marketing Representatives and Guest Ambassadors at on-site and off-property locations.
  • Assists the Marketing Management team with day-to-day operations, including maintaining and increasing the number of guest contacts and bookings, staff assignment and scheduling.
  • Supports the team to achieve budget and regional/corporate objectives and ensure timely delivery of targets and goals.
  • Develops marketing programs and methods to maximize bookings at on-site and off-property marketing desks.
  • Coaches Marketing Representatives and Guest Ambassadors on performance; completes documentation and issues verbal and written disciplinary actions as appropriate.
  • Ensures Marketing Representatives and Guest Ambassadors provide quality customer service.
  • Responsible for conducting daily informational, motivational and/or training meetings with team members.
  • Must have knowledge of Marketing Representatives job functions including booking tours, servicing guests, or sell activities.
  • Makes recommendations to Marketing Management to control tour flow (e.g. changes to income qualification, changes to tour gifting levels, etc.).
  • Responsible for lead generation and lead management (e.g. assigning and monitoring)
  • Knowledgeable of company systems and software and provides reporting and insights
  • Performs any reasonable request by management that supports the department's mission and goals

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Able to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Minimum of 2 years marketing or sales work experience
  • Minimum 6 months of people management and/or experience leading a team in a sales or marketing environment
  • Knowledge and effective application of MS Office programs including Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record to resolving customer service issues.
  • Required to supervise multiple duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation needed.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years people management experience in a sales or marketing environment
