Assistant Manager - Marketing Communications

  • Creative Strategy & Content Design
  • The "Hook" Engine: Develop high-retention video hooks and headlines tailored to specific Indian beauty personas (Gen Z, Millennial, Tier 2/3 markets).
  • Content Strategy: Working on a robust content strategy keeping all Platform marketing requirements in mind.
  • Narrative Mapping: Design the communication funnel—from the initial "Problem-Aware" ad (e.g., skin concerns) to the "Solution-Ready" landing page.
  • Competitive Intelligence and Innovation- Hunger to go above and beyond see what are the best content inputs from a campaign lense.
  • High-Conversion Copy: Write punchy, ingredient-led, and benefit-driven copy that highlights the unique value of the Purplle App.
  • UGC & Influencer Briefing: Direct the team and the creators to produce "Direct Response" content that drives action rather than just passive engagement.
  • Lifecycle Messaging: Create content that looks at the funnel as a whole. Ensuring different types of content works for different levels of the funnel.
  • Hypothesis-Driven Testing: Lead weekly A/B tests on creative variables (e.g., “Does a clinical/expert-led angle outperform a vlog-style user testimonial?”).
  • Performance Sync: Collaborate daily with the Performance Marketing team to kill underperforming assets and scale "Winning" creative hooks.
  • AI Integration: Use AI tools to storyboard, generate copy variations, and scale content for diverse regional demographics.
  • Performance Execution (Installs & Traffic)
  • High-Conversion Copy: Write punchy, ingredient-led, and benefit-driven copy that highlights the unique value of the Purplle App.

THE IDEAL PROFILE

  • Experience: 4-6 years in Marketing Communications or Creative Strategy, ideally within E-commerce, D2C Beauty, or an App-first startup.
  • The Growth Mindset: You are obsessed with content. It would be a benefit if you are actively creating content.
  • Platform Native: You have a deep understanding of what works on Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging regional platforms.
