Job Scope:

To manage and oversee physical operations, ensuring high service levels and alignment with customer-agreed SLAs and defined standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with logistics service providers (LSPs) to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide accurate inputs for LSP billing and production planning.
  • Review daily working processes and engage in people management.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop high-performance culture within the team and monitor individual performance.
  • Manage operational issues and escalate as necessary.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of logistics experience.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a cross-functional/matrix organization.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management (SCM) / Logistics.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills (English/local language), both spoken and written.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of PAN India transportation.
  • Good documentation skills (screening, archiving, retrieval).
  • Customer orientation and decision-making abilities.
  • Planning and organizing skills.
  • Commitment to excellence and problem-solving capabilities.
