Assistant Manager & Social Media Coordinator at Birdcast Studio

Job Overview

Birdcast Studio is hiring a proactive and highly organised Assistant Manager & Social Media Coordinator to support daily operations, client communication, bookings, and social media execution.

This role requires someone who is confident with people, fast at problem-solving, and experienced in short-form video editing and social media trends.

You will be the main point of contact for clients and a key support for studio operations, marketing, and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Communication & Sales

  • Handle all incoming calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and emails
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
  • Confidently explain and sell Birdcast services
  • Upsell additional services (editing, reels packages, add-ons)
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients before, during, and after shoots

Operations & Booking Management

  • Manage the studio booking calendar
  • Coordinate with the internal team on shoot schedules
  • Ensure clients receive reminders, instructions, and confirmations
  • Oversee client check-ins and ensure smooth studio experience
  • Assist management with day-to-day operational tasks

Business Administration

  • Prepare and send invoices
  • Track payments and follow up when needed
  • Communicate all billing updates with the accountant
  • Update service decks, presentations, and pitch materials
  • Maintain organized internal documents and workflow systems

Marketing & Social Media Execution

  • Follow and execute the monthly social media strategy
  • Upload and schedule posts on Birdcast Instagram & LinkedIn
  • Edit short-form videos in CapCut (reels, promos, behind-the-scenes)
  • Write basic captions and publish content consistently
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and platform algorithms
  • Assist in filming simple content when needed

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong CapCut editing skills (must know how to edit reels efficiently)
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, trends, and algorithms
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Confident in speaking with clients and comfortable selling services
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Fast learner with strong initiative
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional and reliable work ethic
  • Comfortable using Canva for pitch decks and updates
  • Good understanding of video editing softwares (capcut)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
