Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Processing

  • Manage end-to-end payroll for monthly, weekly, and off-cycle runs.
  • Validate salary inputs, attendance, overtime, incentives, arrears, and deductions.
  • Perform payroll reconciliation and ensure accurate disbursement.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality.

2. Compliance & Statutory Management

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, gratuity, bonus, etc.).
  • Prepare and file statutory returns and manage inspections/audits.
  • Stay updated on payroll legislation and regulatory changes.

3. Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare monthly payroll reports, variance analysis, cost summaries, and audit schedules.
  • Support finance with GL postings and payroll accounting.
  • Provide data for budgeting and workforce planning.

4. Employee Support

  • Address and resolve payroll-related employee queries.
  • Handle full & final settlements, leave encashments, and exit payments.
  • Coordinate with HR on employee onboarding, transfers, and compensation updates.

5. Systems & Process Improvement : Work with HRIS/Payroll software

6. Team Collaboration

  • Mentor junior payroll team members.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and external auditors/vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, HR, Accounting, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of payroll processing experience mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and statutory laws.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and MS Excel.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
